***ALL WINE SHIPMENTS REQUIRE A SIGNATURE FROM SOMEONE 21 YEARS OR OLDER UPON DELIVERY***

Summer Shipping Policy

During periods of extreme temperatures we will delay your wine shipment to protect the quality of the wine. Any area that is experiencing temperatures of 85F or more for prolonged periods will have their wine shipment delayed until weather conditions permit safely shipping. We will monitor the weather frequently, but for many states we will have to wait until September-October before the weather conditions cool down enough to safely ship. If you would like to have the wines shipped during a weather hold, please review the information below.

 

If you decide to have the wine shipped during a period of extreme temperature, we are not liable for replacing any wines that are compromised or damaged in transit due to extreme temperatures. Ice packs will be available for purchase. We strongly recommend ice packs to be added for any order being shipped during the summer months and that the shipping be upgraded to two-day if it is outside of the 1-2 day transit area. Expedited shipping services can be purchased for those states that are outside of our 1-2 day transit time from our shipping center in Illinois (Please see map below). Again, using these options will not guarantee that the quality of the wine in transit, but they will help mitigate the risks. Please email us at shop@cantinadelvesuvio.com if you have any questions.

NORMAL WEATHER SHIPPING POLICY

You will receive an email with tracking information once your order is scanned in with FedEx or UPS. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 10-14 days of receipt depending on inventory availability.  All wine shipments require an adult signature of 21 years or older upon delivery.  We always recommend having wine shipments sent to a business address if possible. 

We cannot ship to the following states: HI, AK, AL, MS, UT, MI

SHIPPING RATES/SALES TAX

Shipping and handling rates will vary based the number of bottles in your order. State sales taxes are collected and remitted as required.   

IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFO

We cannot deliver wine to P.O. boxes, so please provide a home or work address where someone 21 or older will be available to sign for the wine.  If you will not be home during normal business hours we always recommend having the wine shipped to your place of business where someone 21 years of age or older will be available to sign for the shipment! 

MISSED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

UPS & FedEx will make 3 delivery attempts before returning the package back to our warehouse. Orders returned to Wanderlust Wines are subject to a restocking fee and cancelation fee. 

We are not responsible for reshipping orders that are damaged or lost after a missed delivery attempt. If your order is damaged or lost after a missed delivery attempt, we will replace your order but will not be responsible for the reshipping charge. Please refer to the shipping table below to determine the cost of reshipping your order. 

FedEx and UPS will charge for us for both the outgoing and return trip if a shipment is returned to our fulfillment center due to missed delivery attempts. Wanderlust Wines is not responsible for additional shipping charges to reship orders that are returned due to missed delivery attempts. If your order has been returned to our fulfillment center because of missed delivery attempts, the cost to reship the order is below based on the number of bottles.  

We will email you an invoice for the reshipping fee and this will need to be paid for before your order can be reshipped.

CANCELATION FEE 

All orders are subject to a 5% cancelation fee. 

SHIPPING ADDRESS CORRECTION FEE

FedEx & UPS charge a $15 address correction fee. This fee applies to orders already fulfilled or shipped. Please double-check your shipping address after receiving order confirmation and upcoming shipment notifications for wine club members.

DELIVERY OPTIONS 

UPS and Fedex do provide alternative options for delivery.  Please contact them to make arrangements and please note that they will hold your package for a maximum of 5 days at a pick up facility before sending it back to our warehouse.

DAMAGED ITEMS

If you received a broken wine bottle upon delivery, please contact us at shop@cantinadelvesuvio.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

AGE OF CONSENT

By using this site, you represent that you are at least 21 years or older.  By accepting these terms of service you affirm that you are at least 21 years of age and that any wine you purchase through our site will be shipped to and signed for by a person of 21 years or older.
