Red Wine Vinegar from Vesuvio Lacryma Christi DOC - Donna Ester

On a recent vacation to Italy, we were fortunate enough to have a tour and lunch at the winery. Everyone fell in love with this wine vinegar! Me especially. I immediately ordered 10 bottles for to give the guys at Christmas gifts and to have for home use. We had the family over for dinner this week and served the wine vinegar with a wonderful extra-virgin olive oil and New Orleans French bread for dipping. They completely devoured it and two loaves of bread. Needless to say it was a big hit and the guys are looking forward to receiving their Christmas gift this year.

We were fortunate enough to visit Italy in May of 2023. One of our lasting take away from that trip was the Cantina Del Vesuvio Red Wine Vinegar!
We had a tour and a lunch at this wonderful establishment and the highlight for me was this vinagar, not just the smooth lite taste, but this was the first time I could eat a salad without heartburn! I had 6 bottles shipped to our home and I have continued ordering 6 to 8 bottles a year since then!

This wine vinegar has a unique lightly sweet flavor, and I'm addicted!

I love this wine vinegar. We purchased while in italy touring their vineyard and dining at their restaurant. My summer salads or caprese isn't complete without it. I can't foind anything in the states that compares to its lightly sweet flavor.

I thought all vinegar had to be very acidic, I was wrong. I’m never going to be able to go back!

Vesuvio Red Wine Vinegar is far by the BEST vinegar our family has ever tasted! It compliments everything we put on our table. Upon returning back to the states from visiting their winery, we immediately ordered this amazing vinegar for our home.

I love this wine and especially the red wine vinegar condiment. I have been to this winery in person and it is spectacular! Just outside of Rome under a volcano if you have a chance to visit for a wine tasting it is amazing

This red wine vinegar is so delicious! We received our order a week ago and have already used it for dipping bread, marinating chicken and using with EVOO on our salads. The wine tasting was so much fun and the lunch did not disappoint! I would highly recommend!

This makes such an great tasing and simple dressing with a good olive olive oil and this vinegar. Good and easy

Everyone loves it. We add to olive oil with some spices and salt for bread dipping. We bought our first bottle at the winery in Italy. Now we order more online because it goes fast and it’s a great gift.

Delicious, sweet and tangy and so unique! Has become a kitchen staple of ours. Not only lovely simply dipped with bread, but wonderful for cooking! It's essential in my lentil soup!

It’s flavorful, low calorie, and delicious on all types of food. I use it mostly on salads. Even took it to a restaurant to use on my salad. I love it!

We visited the winery in November, 2025. The wine and food were wonderful, but I never experienced anything like this red wine vinegar. It was delicious. I had two bottles shipped home, and now I wish I bought more.

It doesn't get better than this. Cantina Del Vesuvio hit this just perfectly.
